About Kseniia - London wedding photographer
with an editorial eye and a calm, considered presence
My work sits between portraiture and observation: photographs shaped by composition, light and atmosphere, but grounded in real feeling and the natural rhythm of a day. I guide when needed, step back when it matters more to let things unfold, and work in a way that feels composed, discreet and quietly assured.
Who I am
I’m Kseniia, a London wedding photographer drawn to spaces with character, light and a strong sense of place.
I work mostly in London and across the UK, with selected dates each year for destination celebrations.
I’m especially at home in settings where architecture, atmosphere and people all matter equally — town halls, churches, grand hotels, thoughtfully designed interiors, and celebrations that feel well considered without becoming overly staged.
The couples who choose me tend to care not only about how their wedding looks, but how it feels: the tone of a room, the movement of the day, the people around them, and photographs that remain elegant without losing honesty.
A few details
I’m naturally introverted and a listener first. I tend to notice small expressions, shifts in light, the movement of fabric, the shape of a room, and the quieter details that often carry the feeling of a day.
Visually, I’m drawn to architectural lines, well-made objects, hand-finished textures, and the contrast between grand spaces and close, intimate moments.
I’m most interested in work that feels composed without becoming rigid — polished, but never loud; calm, but never flat; considered, but still alive.
How I work
Before the day
Before the wedding, I prepare carefully. I learn the structure of the day, the spaces, the timings and the people who matter most, so the photography can feel calm and unforced rather than reactive.
On the day
On the day itself, I work with a quiet sense of direction. Portraits are guided with clarity and restraint, while the rest of the celebration is photographed with a lighter touch — observing rather than interrupting, and keeping the shape of the day intact.
After the day
Afterwards, the images are edited with the same sense of discipline: selecting what adds to the story, refining colour and tone with care, and building a gallery that feels coherent from morning to evening.

See full wedding stories
A handful of strong images can create a first impression. A full wedding story shows something more valuable: consistency, sensitivity, and the ability to hold the tone of a day from beginning to end.
These selected weddings show the work across different settings — a country house, a black-tie city celebration, and a church wedding — each approached with the same attention to atmosphere, structure and presence.
“Kseniia did an outstanding job with our wedding photographs and I would recommend her to anyone. She was extremely professional, clear and reliable from the start; she made us feel comfortable, confident and happy on the day and the results are outstanding and we have received lots of compliments for them. Thank you!”

A quiet-editorial approach blends the structure of editorial photography with the calm presence of documentary work. I give you gentle, precise direction when it’s needed — for portraits and essential group photographs — and step back the rest of the time so the day can breathe. The images are clean, modern and considered, but never stiff or over-staged; they should feel like your wedding rather than a photoshoot.

Most of my couples describe themselves as camera-shy. I’ll give you gentle, specific guidance at key moments, where to stand, how to hold one another, when to pause and then step back so you can talk, walk and breathe naturally. The goal is for you to feel looked after, never performed.
-
I’ll guide you when it helps and stay unobtrusive the rest of the time. During portraits and any essential group photographs, I take the lead so things move smoothly. During the ceremony, drinks and dinner, I work quietly around you, anticipating moments rather than staging them. You’ll always know where you stand, but you’ll never feel choreographed from morning to night.
-
For many weddings, I work alone and move efficiently between spaces. For larger guest lists, multi-location days or where coverage of both preparations is important, I can bring a trusted second photographer or an assistant. We’ll talk about what’s appropriate for your plans and build it into your collection where it genuinely adds value.

Yes. I regularly photograph black-tie hotel celebrations, London town hall ceremonies, church weddings and intimate gatherings in restaurants or private homes. The scale may change but the approach stays the same: calm, attentive, and focused on atmosphere, connection and thoughtful composition.

I’m based in London and work across the UK, with a limited number of dates set aside for destination celebrations each year. Travel is planned carefully in advance so everything runs smoothly, and we’ll discuss the schedule, coverage and any additional days needed before you confirm.

Enquire via the Contact page and share your date, venue and plans. I’ll suggest the collection that fits your timings, plus any enhancements that genuinely add value, and outline the booking fee and balance clearly so you know exactly what to expect. For full-day weddings, a £300 booking fee and a simple online agreement secure your date; the remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding.
