About Kseniia – Quiet, editorial wedding photographer
My work centres on editorial portraits with a modern, considered eye and honest, warm coverage — driven by composition, light and the small, truthful moments between people. I guide when it helps and step back when it doesn’t, so you can stay present in your celebration while I quietly compose real moments into a cohesive story.
Who I am
I’m Kseniia, a London wedding photographer drawn to modern imagery and real, unforced moments.
I work mostly in London and across the UK, with selected dates for destination celebrations, and I’m happiest in spaces where architecture, atmosphere and people all matter equally. Whether it’s a London town hall, a grand hotel or a weekend celebration further afield, my focus stays the same: thoughtful composition, beautiful light and images that still feel like you.
As a London wedding photographer, I’m drawn to the rhythm of the city — town halls, churches, hotels and restaurants — and how each space shapes the story we tell. For destination weddings, I’m particularly drawn to places where architecture, landscape and atmosphere all play a role — from European cities to country houses — and I take on a small number of these each year so there’s time to arrive early, walk the spaces and plan calmly.
I’m most often chosen by couples who are thoughtful, sometimes a little camera-shy, and drawn to well-designed spaces — people who care as much about atmosphere, architecture and the feeling of the day as they do about the photographs themselves. They care about considered design, beautifully dressed rooms and the people closest to them.
My style is modern and editorial: portraits are guided and structured so you feel supported, while the rest of the day unfolds naturally with unobtrusive coverage and refined, elegant after-dark images.
How I work
Before the day
Before the wedding, I focus on listening. I’ll ask about your venues, timings, light, family dynamics and what matters most to you, then work with you (and your planner if you have one). The aim is to make space for portraits and quiet moments without pulling you away from your guests or turning the day into a photoshoot. I prepare thoroughly — notes, routes, any necessary permissions — so the day itself can feel fluid and unhurried.
On the day
On the day, I’m present but unobtrusive. For portraits, I’ll give calm, specific direction — where to stand, how to hold one another, when to pause and breathe — so you’re never left wondering what to do with your hands. I pay close attention to posture, lines and light, balancing an editorial eye with expressions that still look like you.
For the rest of the day, I move quietly in the background: watching for glances, gestures and the small, unscripted moments that bring a gallery to life. I work comfortably alongside planners and venue teams, keeping an eye on the schedule so you can simply be with your favourite people, knowing the photography is quietly under control.
After the day
Afterwards, I edit with the same sense of calm and restraint. I select the images that genuinely add to the story — from key moments and portraits to details and in-between scenes — and bring them into a cohesive sequence. Colour, tone and contrast are refined so the gallery feels consistent from morning to evening. You receive a curated preview within 48 hours while everything is still fresh, followed by the full, polished gallery — typically within around 3–6 weeks — in a private online space that you can revisit and share in your own time.

A few quiet details
I’m naturally introverted and a listener first; I pay attention to small expressions, the way fabric moves, and how light falls across a room.
Visually, I’m drawn to architectural lines, well-made objects, hand-finished fabrics and the contrast between grand spaces and quiet, close-up moments.
I like unhurried mornings, good coffee and walking through London’s galleries and streets — places where light, design and people intersect.
I’m happiest when a day feels well-considered but never rigid: a clear structure, space for spontaneity, and the sense that everyone can relax into the celebration.
That same balance is what I aim for in my work: composed but not stiff, polished but not loud, quietly confident rather than performative.

See full wedding days from morning to last dance. It’s one thing to love a handful of highlights; it’s another to see how the work holds together across a whole celebration. These three favourites — a country house, a black-tie city celebration and a church wedding — show how I guide portraits calmly, document moments discreetly and light the evening elegantly.
“Kseniia did an outstanding job with our wedding photographs and I would recommend her to anyone. She was extremely professional, clear and reliable from the start; she made us feel comfortable, confident and happy on the day and the results are outstanding and we have received lots of compliments for them. Thank you!”

A quiet-editorial approach blends the structure of editorial photography with the calm presence of documentary work. I give you gentle, precise direction when it’s needed — for portraits and essential group photographs — and step back the rest of the time so the day can breathe. The images are clean, modern and considered, but never stiff or over-staged; they should feel like your wedding rather than a photoshoot.

Most of my couples describe themselves as camera-shy. I’ll give you gentle, specific guidance at key moments, where to stand, how to hold one another, when to pause and then step back so you can talk, walk and breathe naturally. The goal is for you to feel looked after, never performed.
-
I’ll guide you when it helps and stay unobtrusive the rest of the time. During portraits and any essential group photographs, I take the lead so things move smoothly. During the ceremony, drinks and dinner, I work quietly around you, anticipating moments rather than staging them. You’ll always know where you stand, but you’ll never feel choreographed from morning to night.
-
For many weddings, I work alone and move efficiently between spaces. For larger guest lists, multi-location days or where coverage of both preparations is important, I can bring a trusted second photographer or an assistant. We’ll talk about what’s appropriate for your plans and build it into your collection where it genuinely adds value.

Yes. I regularly photograph black-tie hotel celebrations, London town hall ceremonies, church weddings and intimate gatherings in restaurants or private homes. The scale may change but the approach stays the same: calm, attentive, and focused on atmosphere, connection and thoughtful composition.

I’m based in London and work across the UK, with a limited number of dates set aside for destination celebrations each year. Travel is planned carefully in advance so everything runs smoothly, and we’ll discuss the schedule, coverage and any additional days needed before you confirm.

Enquire via the Contact page and share your date, venue and plans. I’ll suggest the collection that fits your timings, plus any enhancements that genuinely add value, and outline the booking fee and balance clearly so you know exactly what to expect. For full-day weddings, a £300 booking fee and a simple online agreement secure your date; the remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding.
